Ride #2: Arizmendi Bakery

My friend Sarah recommended Arizmendi to me when I first told her about my project. She loved the fact that they specialize in vegetarian pizza and that they’re a co-op.

Not sure how I missed this bakery after living in the Bay Area for 5 years but it far exceeded my expectations!

    • Takeaway:

      • Spend your spare time doing work you want to get hired for.
        It’ll be a grind. But small slow growth is sustainable growth, and you’ll get to know your craft so much better.

      • You don’t need fancy tools.
        His illustrations are popular but they started out as simple flow charts drawn on a piece of copy paper. Just focused on creating “visual joke” that was quick to deliver, made people laugh, and looked different from the typical latte or outdoor photos that he saw on his IG feed.
