Ride #9: Cinderella Bakery

My final Bakery Ride stop out of my OG 9! 🎉

The city had a lucky break this morning with the air quality, so decided on a whim to head out to Hawk Hill in the early AM. On my way back swung by Cinderella Bakery & Cafe which is a Russian bakery that’s known for their piroshkis and other baked goods.

The only other time I had piroshkis was in Seattle at Piroshki Piroshki so I was super excited to try these. Did not disappoint!

Quick tip: The bakery opens early at 7am but they don’t start serving piroshkis until 9:30-10AM. Their other pastries are insanely delicious too but if you’re going out there specifically for their piroshkis, head out a little later.

My Ride Log.

  • Total distance: 23.6 mi

  • Elev gain: 1378 ft

  • Podcast: The Adventure Stache w/Nichole Baker, adventure athlete, philanthropist, and medical professional

    • Takeaway: Listen to your gut and stay true to your goals.
During Nichole’s brief and interesting stint as a deputy coroner, she had a moment of realization where her job was not aligned with her ultimate career goals. She admitted that sticking around would continue to be a good learning experience but her gut told her to pursue her passions and return to the medical field.
